In 2001, Port-P helped Acocks Green Primary School to adopt one of the first kinds of wireless networks, utilising more than 60 notebook computers for its pupils. We installed an ICT (information and communication technology) suite, plus projectors and interactive whiteboards in every classroom.
From delivering machines preloaded with the school’s ‘ghost image’ (meaning that initial files, information and applications were copied verbatim onto each PC for speed and ease of setup), through to configuring the whiteboards, Port-P’s excellent level of service inspired the school to roll its new technology out to all departments.
The budget-conscious school always runs checks against Port-P’s prices, and assures us that we deliver the best products at the best prices every time. They receive their goods the day after they are ordered (and sometimes even earlier).
